David C. Burkhardt, CPA
Dave began working for Hendershot, Burkhardt, & Reed in December of 2000. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Strayer University for over eleven years in their corporate finance department. He is currently a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs.

Richard L. Hendershot, CPA
With over twenty-two years of extensive experience in the auditing and financial management arena, Richard Hendershot is a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the Not-for-Profit Technical Committee. He is the Campus Dean at the Manassas campus of Strayer University where he teaches graduate and undergraduate level accounting courses. For twelve years, Rick served as controller of the Heritage Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for a number of Virginia Corporations and was inducted in 1994 as a distinguished member of “Who’s Who Among Business Leaders”.

Fred G. Reed, CPA
With more than thirty years of experience in taxation and accounting, Fred Reed brings extensive technical knowledge and governmental background to clients. Formerly employed by the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent, he provides enormous expertise about regulatory, tax, and compliance issues that face today’s business owner. His position at the Agency for International Development included financial management and project reviews. Fred also served as an auditor with the Department of Energy Inspector General’s Office. He is a member in good standing of a number of professional tax and accounting organizations
